SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

With 6 years of dedicated experience, I have crafted data-driven SEO strategies and conducted comprehensive technical audits for companies across the US, UK, and Serbia. Since 2023, I have actively integrated AI-driven workflows to accelerate the SEO process and improve strategic precision. This modern approach ensures that websites are not only visible on traditional search engines but are also optimized for discovery within AI search tools and generative platforms.

Throughout my career, I have collaborated with industry-leading agencies such as New Target, Webselenese, and Incline Marketing Group. These partnerships have allowed me to refine my expertise in navigating complex search landscapes and delivering measurable results for a wide range of clients.

While my work spans a wide range of industries and technical challenges, I believe the best way to demonstrate value is through proven outcomes. To explore the specific strategies and results I achieved for vpnMentor (Webselenese) and the Institute of World Politics (New Target), please see the Case Studies featured below.

vpnMentor

About the Client

vpnMentor is a trusted authority on VPN reviews and online privacy. Through rigorous testing, expert comparisons, and comprehensive guides, the platform provides up-to-date insights into VPN performance, security, and privacy practices, helping millions of users make informed decisions about digital protection.

The Challenge

The complexity and scale of the website made it challenging to efficiently identify and resolve SEO issues, ultimately limiting its ability to rank effectively in the SERPs and scale organic acquisition. Due to its size, the site also faced crawl budget inefficiencies, preventing search engines from consistently accessing and prioritizing key pages. The recent migration introduced additional complications, including incomplete metadata, improperly configured 301 redirects, and misaligned canonical tags. Furthermore, disruptions in the internal linking structure weakened the flow of authority and negatively impacted overall indexation and organic visibility.

Our team increased organic traffic by 100% – from 4 million to 8 million monthly visits. While a 100% increase may not always sound dramatic in percentage terms, at that scale it represented a significant growth milestone. This period also coincided with the website achieving its highest ranking performance.

I contributed key SEO recommendations that supported these results, including on-page optimization, technical SEO improvements, strategic redirections, internal linking enhancements, and keyword targeting to leverage new content opportunities. Using tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics, I identified growth opportunities and closely monitored performance to ensure continuous improvement.

Institute of World Politics

About the Client

The Institute of World Politics (IWP) is an independent, accredited graduate school in Washington, D.C., focused on national security, intelligence, diplomacy, military strategy, and the integrated “instruments of statecraft.” Grounded in the ethical conduct of statecraft and a curriculum shaped by American founding principles and the Western moral tradition, IWP prepares professionals for leadership in government, defense, and international affairs.

The Challenge

IWP’s site serves multiple audiences (prospective students, current students, and visitors consuming events/news), resulting in a large mixed-content footprint where high-value program pages competed with frequently updated sections. A wide set of closely related degrees and certificates also split topical relevance across similar URLs, diluting the site’s ability to rank for key non-brand program and career-intent queries.

Inconsistent on-page signals across templates (meta titles, heading hierarchy, and content depth) further reduced topical clarity, while internal linking gaps limited the flow of authority to priority academic pages – ultimately limiting crawlability, keyword performance, and long-term organic growth.

Results

Over a six-month SEO engagement for iwp.edu, organic traffic increased by 222%, and organic search drove an increase in program inquiry submissions across degree and certificate offerings.

I contributed key SEO recommendations that supported this growth, including a full technical and content audit (Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics), refined meta titles and heading structures to better align with target keywords, content expansion guidance for program pages to capture long-tail demand, and an internal linking plan designed to consolidate authority around priority academic pages. I packaged these into a clear SEO roadmap, partnered with content and development teams to execute, and monitored rankings and performance trends in GSC to continuously optimize based on results.
